Zanzibar Island – Perfect Holiday and Vacation Destination
Just off the coast of Tanzania lies the Zanzibar Archipelago which is made up of two islands. Unguja and Pemba are the largest islands, Zanzibar Island being the main island. For some reason Zanzibar is often mis-spelled probably because of the sound of the pronunciation. Zansibar and Zanziba are the most common mis-spellings for Zanzibar. Nungwi is a fishing village in the busy part of Zanzibar Island on the northern part of the island which consists of backpacking lodges and some great beach bars, but there are also accommodations further away from the noise and partying of the busy side of Nungwi. Depending on the activities of the tourist will determine where to stay on their vacation on Zanzibar Island. Fundu Lagoon is located just off the shore of Zanzibar; this little lagoon offers a beautiful, untouched place on the island of Pemba. This lodge is a high end beach lodge with high ratings.
